2026 — the Year of the Horse — invites you to reconnect with instinct, presence, and your embodied wisdom. This retreat offers a day to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and return to the grounded clarity of nature that horses embody so naturally.
Set in a quiet mountain pasture, you’ll explore your inner world through movement, breath, and direct experience with the herd. This is a space to soften into awareness, release tension, and remember your wild, intuitive, authentic self.
The somatic-based themes for each retreat are:
June - Awareness
July - Connection
August - Trust
September - Presence
Rates
$175/day
$600/season (payment plans available)

What to Expect / FAQs
-
Each day blends guided interactive experiences around personal embodiment and time with horses, open exploration at one’s own pace, and ample space to reflect—so the retreat feels both focused and spacious.
-
Not at all.
Everything with the horses is done on the ground at a slow, intuitive pace. No riding, nothing fast or intimidating. The horses meet you exactly where you are, and your comfort is always honored.
-
You are fully welcome.
Many women arrive with some excitement, fear or uncertainty — and that honesty actually deepens the experience. Horses attune to your nervous system and respond softly when you’re present and authentic. Your safety and comfort are held throughout.
-
Bring a sack lunch, plenty of water, layers for changing mountain weather, and a journal.
If you have a favorite blanket, shawl, or grounding item, you’re welcome to bring that too.
-
Mild weather is part of the rewilding experience. If conditions become unsafe (lightning, extreme winds), the retreat will be rescheduled or adapted with available shelter in the pasture.
-
Absolutely. Movement is therapeutic, fascia-focused, and accessible for all levels.
Breathwork is gentle and regulating.
Equine work is slow, mindful, and approachable.
-
No — this is not clinical therapy. It is deeply therapeutic in a natural, somatic way. We work with yoga, breath, regulation, embodiment, and the presence of horses to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom.
-
A gentle, grounded space for reflection, shared wisdom, and connection.
No forced sharing — speak if you feel called, listen if you prefer. It’s about honesty and presence, not performance.
-
At a private, serene pasture in Nederland, Colorado, surrounded by mountains, creeks, forest and horses. Directions and parking details are provided after registration.
-
Nope! The season’s retreat schedule allows for participants to attend any or all days as your personal schedule allows. One day retreat will enrich your life deeply. Attending all four will bring you lasting, powerful, positive change.
-
Yes — intentionally.
You’ll turn off and tuck away your phone upon arrival so your nervous system can settle and your presence can deepen. (Emergency contact options will be provided.) Accommodations can be made for certain safety circumstances and participants will be allowed to use their phone for pictures at the end of each day.
-
Because space is limited to six attendees, the policy for single day registration is:
• 100% refund if canceled 15 or more days before your retreat date.
• 50% refund if canceled within 14 days.
• Full refund anytime if a replacement attendee takes your spot.
You may also transfer your registration to another date if space is available.
For those registered for all four days, the same above applies with a $100 cancelation fee.
-
For those wishing to attend all four retreat days, a monthly payment plan option is available. Please reach out if you’d like more info about this!
-
• Sack lunch. Simple + nourishing. Whatever feels grounding for you.
• Water bottle. Hydration is essential at altitude.
• Comfortable clothes for movement. Layers recommended — Colorado mountain weather can shift quickly.

• Closed-toe shoes or boots. For comfort and safety around the horses.
• Yoga mat. Plus any props you love (blanket, bolster, block).
• Cushion/chair/backjack for sitting, meditation. Our space will be in the pasture, in nature. Creating a comfortable space is important.
• Journal + pen. For reflections, insights, and circle sharing.
• Sunscreen + hat. We’ll be outside most of the day.
• Optional favorite comfort item. A shawl, blanket, crystal, or anything that helps you feel grounded.
-
Participants will be guided upon arrival for where to park vehicles, identify bathroom location, and shown where to set up at our practice space for the day.
-
Mindful movement and breathing will be for all levels with attention to therapeutic, fascia-focused practices that awaken and connect with the body.
-
We’ll meet the herd, review presence and boundary practices for safety, observe herd dynamics and build our container for stepping into connection with the horses.
-
We’ll close the morning with a grounding, breath-centered meditation and integration circle, sharing observations, experiences and awareness.
-
Guests will need to bring their own sack lunch. Water and light snacks will be provided and available throughout the day.
-
Following lunch, we’ll dive back into gentle nervous-system supportive breathwork and movement to deepen our presence and awareness.
-
Participants will be guided through a nervous system co-regulation practice with the herd. Session 2 will be a focus on deepening into somatic experience.
-
This will be a time to share more fully the experience of the day and acknowledge our somatic journey with the herd, what we’ve discovered and what insights we can take with us going forward.
-
Participants are welcome to depart for the day. Private Healing Pasture sessions booked in advance will also be facilitated during this time. Please reach out if you’d like more info about our Healing Pasture work!

We are offering a unique experience for women and the feminine-identifying because we believe in both the healing power of horses and the sacred support we receive in the company of other women like us. Additionally, we have structured these day retreats in a way that emphasizes the somatic, embodied experience, giving ample time and safe space for feeling our way though life. Our hope is that all participants will leave feeling more fully themselves, and with a greater sense of who they are.
-
You can reach us anytime via our contact us page. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
-
For single day retreats, we request payment in full to hold your spot. For booking the entire season, we offer monthly payment plans that match our retreat schedule. For individual healing sessions with one of our practitioners, appointments and payments are made directly with the practitioner.
