Amanda Fenessy

Amanda Fenessy is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated summa cum laude from Iowa Community College in 2018 and has been in practice ever since. Her work blends technical skill with intuitive, somatic awareness to support both physical and emotional healing.

She specializes in deep tissue massage for chronic pain and injury, along with cupping, Sarga bodywork, Thai massage, and lymphatic drainage. Amanda brings a strong focus on somatic experience, helping clients reconnect with their bodies in a grounded, restorative way.

Her approach is deeply influenced by a lifelong connection with horses. Raised riding on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, she trained in show jumping and formed a pivotal bond with a once-labeled “difficult” thoroughbred through quiet presence and trust—an experience that continues to shape her work with both people and animals.

Today, her massage therapy practice draws on her experience with her mustang, Mylee, her auction rescue horse, Ravi (who has since crossed over the rainbow bridge), and her palomino pony, Blaze. She especially resonates with the resilience and transformation of these animals, often reflecting the healing journeys of her clients.

Amanda offers a calm, respectful presence, creating space for clients to feel supported in body, mind and spirit.
